Ryan Loechner

Head Coach

Ryan was promoted to head coach in 2009 / Short Course season.  He was previously Assistant Coach for Weston Swimming for 4 years.  In addition to his coaching experience, Ryan brings to Weston Swimming an ever-present positive energy and innate ability to encourage and motivate our swimmers. Ryan started his swimming career as a swimmer with Weston Swimming.  While swimming with the Weston High School Boys Swim Team, he was chosen as captain of the team in his senior year and qualified for States for his 500 yard freestyle. He then went on to swim on the varsity team at a NCAA Division III school, serving as captain in his senior year.  During his college summers, he was a summer league assistant coach in Lewisboro, New York.

Jill Lane

8 & Under Coach

Jill has been coaching for Weston Swimming for the past 13 years in addition to her private coaching career.  She is a certified teacher in State of CT. Certified Secondary Education.  She is also a Certified Trainer.

Tom Grace

Asst. Age Group Coach

Tom is the newest member of our coaching staff. A dedicated, hard working coach, Tom has served as the Head Coach of the Weston High School Boys and Girls Swim Teams for 3 years.  In just that short amount of time, he has won the State Championships twice. Tom brings to Weston Swimming experience, leadership and a passion for coaching.

Jeff Thompson

Senior Coach/Asst. Age Group Coach

Jeff Thompson joins us this summer from Sacramento, California where he was a head coach of the Del Norte Dolphins.  He joins us as a 4 year NCAA Division III SLIAC Conference champion in Butterfly.  His dedication and knowledge of swimming makes him a perfect fit for Weston swimming.  Jeff will be primarily coaching the Senior team however you can expect to see him giving a little bit of help to everyone.
