Brandon has been coaching swimming and water polo in Fairfield County for the past 10 years.
Brandon's swimming career, which began in his native Baltimore, flourished after his move to Westport at the age of seven. A former Westport YMCA Water Wrat, he has competed at the local and state levels, specializing in sprint freestyle. He also competed for the Staples High School Boys Varsity Swim and Water Polo teams in Westport, captaining the latter in his junior and senior years. Brandon went on to earn his bachelor's degree in Government in 2010 from St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY, competing on the varsity swim team all four years.
Brandon's coaching career began at his alma mater, Staples High School, where he assisted with the Girls Varsity Swim and Water Polo teams. He later became head coach of the Boys Varsity Water Polo Team at Staples. Brandon then coached swimming for the Westport Water Wrats for about two years, primarily working with the 11-12 year old squad. His role ultimately expanded to include the 9-10 year old and 8/under programs. Brandon then worked at Swim 70 in Norwalk, running their 8/under swim program and helping the team win the 2016 Short Course Age Group Championship. Brandon served as the Head Swim Coach at the Stamford YMCA. Currently, Brandon is the Head Coach of Weston High School Girls and Boys swimming teams having won four State Championships and three conference titles between the two programs over the last three years.
Michael Jordan

Michael has over 20yrs coaching experience working with both age-group and senior level swimmers. As a swimmer in High School, he was a YMCA New England Champion and record holder in butterfly as well as a YMCA National finalist in backstroke and freestyle. In college, Michael swam at Southern Connecticut and became Southern's first 4 year, All-American swimmer. Awarded Swimmer of the 90's, New England Champion and record holder in his 100 and 200 backstroke and Captain in his senior year.
Michael loves working with all levels of swimmers and seeing the progression at each stage. Michael lives in Milford with his wife Linda and 4 children, Grace, Abigail, Caleb and Eden. He enjoys outdoor activities including flyfishing, whitewater kayaking and snow boarding in Maine!

Steve comes to us from Fordham University where for the last three decades, Steve has been at the helm of the Men and Women's Swimming & Diving programs as Head Coach and Director of Aquatics.
The longest tenured head coach at Rose Hill, Potsklan has witnessed the team's move towards the top of the Atlantic 10, highlighted by the women's team earning its first-ever Atlantic 10 Championship title in 2010, with the men's team tying its best-ever finish at the Championship in 2010.
In addition, Potsklan has been the Atlantic 10 Women's Swimming Coach of the Year in 2009 and 2010, as well as Fordham Coach of the Year, receiving the Iron Major Award for the second and third time, respectively. During his tenure at Fordham Steve has sent multiple athletes to NCAA D-1 Championships as well as US Olympic Trials.
Prior to his arrival at Fordham, Potsklan served as an assistant coach at Yale University for five seasons, helping that program regain Ivy League dominance. At Yale, the squad had a rapid rise from the bottom of the conference to Ivy League Champions. Potsklan also served on the staffs at West Virginia and Penn State, coaching several NCAA and Senior Nationals finalists. He has also coached at the Omni Swim Club, Mountaineer Swim Club, and the Texas Longhorn and Alabama Swim Camps. He has worked as the director of the SwimAmerica program which offers swim lessons for children and adults in the Fordham area. A 1985 graduate of Penn State, Potsklan went from a non-scholarship walk-on to the team's MVP, setting six school records and winning an Atlantic 10 title in the 100 freestyle twice. He also holds a Masters degree from West Virginia.

Lauren is a proud Weston Swimming alum and a former competitive swimmer with over 12 years of experience in the sport. A lifelong lover of the water, she is passionate about creating the next generation of hardworking, kind, and empowered athletes. Now 23 and living in Norwalk, CT, Lauren works full-time as a behavioral technician, where her passion for teaching and mentoring children shines every day. Returning to the Weston pool deck feels like coming home - she's excited to give back to the program that shaped her into the young woman she is today.
